SPRING ONLINE CLASSES 2024
Online Drawing with Adrian Martinez
Tuesdays, March 26 – April 23
Length: 5 weeks
11am – 2pm Eastern Time Zone
Online via Zoom: Classes are recorded
(Online attendance not required)
Do you want to improve your drawing and artistic skills? This unique and innovative online class is for the curious at all levels. After the first introductory class where Adrian discusses techniques and visions of several past masters, participants submit images of their drawings, current artwork or masterwork, as well as questions. Their submissions and comments contribute to the focus of each class, creating an exciting mix of art concepts, research and applications based on the actual interests of each one in the class. By improving your manual skills in drawing, using the medium of your choice from pencil and paper to media such as silverpoint you can improve your ability to see with the eyes of the great masters
Each class includes:
- Presentation and discussion of masterworks and weekly themes
- Exploration of artistic theories and techniques
- Review of student submitted artwork
At the end of the semester—with Martinez’s professionalism, extensive knowledge of art past and present and enthusiasm to help each class member—you will never see art (yours or others) in the same way again.
