Still Life and Figure Drawing with Adrian Martinez

Monday, March 16, 2015 through Monday, April 20, 2015 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
6 Monday evening classes – 3 hours per class

In this 3 hour class, held in his 1894 Victorian home in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Adrian will teach still life and figure drawing, sharing his knowledge of 19th century academic art and his love of drawing from the Renaissance to contemporary art. This Still Life class will include drawing fruit, fabric, a live model and other interiors. Students will be expected to supply their own drawing media: pencils, colored pencils and a drawing pad. Directions and parking instructions will be sent to each student upon registration.  Please be sure to enter your email address when paying for the class.  You only need 1 class in your shopping cart as the price includes all 6 classes. In this 3 hour class, held in his 1894 Victorian home in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, Adrian will teach landscape drawing. A truly unique way of exploring landscape drawing techniques based on 19th century teaching traditions. Students will never leave the classroom! Instead, students can bring inspiring photographs or favorite Old Master landscapes drawings of their choice. The student, together with Adrian and the class will analyze the image and create their own original work. Students will be expected to supply their own drawing media: pencils, colored pencils and a drawing pad.
